Real Wedding: Brittany and James Alabama Wedding

I am so excited because today I start a new internship! I feel so blessed to have another opportunity to learn so much and do what I love. Today I have such a sweet wedding from Angela Blake Photography that has some pickles from the wedding day.

1.) the hotel was completely booked and would not let them check in until 2 hours past their original check-in time, which pushed the entire getting process (hair/make-up) back for the bride, as she was getting all of that done in her hotel room.

2.) Formal photos were scheduled to start at 2:00pm and the ceremony at 5:30pm, but due to the timing dilemma with the hotel and preparations we only had time to shoot the first look before the ceremony (at 5:15pm).

3.) After the "first look" the groom realized he forgot her wedding ring. When he told the bride, she realized she forgot his as well. They sent someone back to the hotel to pick them up.

4.) After all that , the officiant was an hour late, so the ceremony started at 6:30pm.In the end, it all worked out and they had a beautiful ceremony and reception. We just rolled with the new schedule and wound up getting all of the desired images and you would never know all of that was going on from the looks of them. :)

The moral to this story is...

1.) to be prepared and double check all arrangements and details ahead of time.


2.) Make sure to hire vendors who can adapt under pressure.


3.) Most important! : Remember that no matter what happens, at the end of the day you are marrying the one you love... and that is ALL that matters.
