I love the idea of doing portraits after the wedding day that are non-traditional. I know I have been considering doing this for quite some time since most my pictures from my wedding day are traditional and we ran out of time to do anything else! Live View Studios shares this adorable portrait session that I just adore because of the use of props that help to tell the couple's story. You can find more about Ellen and Philip on Live View Studios's blog :-)
Here is a bit of background shared to us by the photographer:
Philip and Ellen are a Christian couple and are planning to leave for China in the coming year. This inspired us to find an old globe for ring shots, and the fortune cookies were included because of Philip's proposal to Ellen with a rhinestone-covered one. We were asked to photograph the couple after their wedding by the groom's parents so that they could have some non-traditional portraits. With the beautiful sunlight, a garden setting and a gorgeous bride and groom, I think we were able to accomplish that.
